MAGIX has their own program called MAGIX Movie Edit Pro. MAGIX Germany (owners of Vegas), decided to "recycle" the name "Movie Studio / Movie Studio Platinum", now that Vegas Movie Studio no longer exists. Now there is only VEGAS Pro versions - they have reduced price for Vegas Pro dramatically. "VEGAS Movie Studio Platinum" was officially retied last year. I have made numerous videos about this topic. I can't believe it isn't possible with Platinum 17 - any help would be greatly appreciated. It adds a ton of steps and time and there are limited conversions without watermarks. So far I have been rendering in 1920 x 1080 then using a program called Kapwing to convert it. If I change the project properties it shrinks the raw video to fit and I have not found a template I can edit to render in.

I have created a panel overlay so I can move / resize the video so it will play properly in the exposed window but I can't figure out how to render the video as 9:16, or by my calculations 640 x 1080. But the shorts need to be rendered vertically (9:16) and my videos are all recorded 1920 x 1080. My challenge - I'm generating the shorts by clipping my longer form videos. I have a Van Build Series on my Channel and the subs have definitely been climbing since I started. In new versions of Vegas, there is a Colour Button in bottom toolbar, that activates Colour Tools - this is where you can select a LUT or import a LUT. I would recommend reading my article first, then watching video: I also need to make an updated Colour Correction tutorial, to explain all the NEW Tools in Vegas Pro - that will happen in a few months time.

VEGAS Edit 19 is the full version of VEGAS Pro, just by itself. If you upgrade to VEGAS Edit 19 which is on sale right now for only $89, there are default LUTs you can choose from OR you can import Custom LUTs that you already own.
